  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp marinade by combining olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Toss in the shrimp and let sit for 15-20 minutes in the fridge.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated shrimp, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Warm the corn tortillas over low flame or microwave wrapped in damp paper towel for about 20 seconds.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp in tortillas and topping with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and cilantro.
  5. Serve the tacos immediately while warm. Enjoy!
