Crack Burgers

A flavorful and juicy burger recipe that combines ground chuck with ranch dressing and crispy bacon for an unforgettable taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lb ground chuck
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Onion & Bacon: Start by finely chopping your bacon and cooking it in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and place it on a paper towel.
  2. Mix the Beef Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck, cooked bacon, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, and half of the shredded cheddar. Mix gently.
  3. Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into equal portions, about 4 to 6, and shape them into patties, making a small thumbprint in the center.
  4. Preheat the Grill or Skillet: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little oil if using a skillet.
  5. Cook the Burgers: Place the patties on the hot grill or skillet, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the burgers and add the remaining cheese on top, cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  6. Toast the Buns: Lightly butter your hamburger buns and toast them on the grill or skillet until golden brown.
  7. Assemble Your Crack Burgers: Layer the bottom bun with lettuce, add the burger patty with melted cheese, top with tomato slices, mustard, and mayo. Finish with the top bun.
