Gourmet Brownie Cookies

A delightful blend of gooey brownie and chewy cookie for a rich chocolate dessert experience.

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Cream the softened unsalted butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Add the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
  6. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly mixed throughout the dough.
  9. Scoop dough portions onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers still look soft.
  11. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For added variety, try adding nuts, different extracts, or dried fruits to the cookie dough.
