The Ultimate Grilled Cheese Burrito

A flavorful twist on comfort food that combines the best of burritos and grilled cheese.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned (around 5-7 minutes).
  2. Add taco seasoning and about half a cup of water. Stir and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  3. Mix in cooked rice, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, and half of the shredded cheeses until well combined.
  4. Build the burritos by laying out a tortilla and spooning a generous amount of the mixture into the center.
  5. Roll the tortilla tightly and grill in a skillet with butter or oil until golden brown and crisp (3-5 minutes on each side).
  6. Slice the burrito in half and serve with extra chipotle sauce and sour cream on the side.
