Lemon Chicken with Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • Juice of 2 Lemons
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Fresh Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by gathering all your ingredients. Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken in a large skillet with melted butter over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes on one side until golden. Flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Make the garlic butter sauce by removing the chicken, reducing heat, and adding the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add lemon juice and Parmesan cheese to the garlic butter, stirring until combined and letting it bubble slightly.
  5. Combine the chicken with the sauce in the skillet and cook for another minute.
  6. Serve the chicken on a platter, pouring any remaining sauce over the top and garnishing with parsley.
