Low Carb Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

A scrumptious, low-carb meal featuring tender chicken, melty cheese, and garlic, wrapped in lettuce or low-carb tortillas.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 large lettuce leaves or low carb tortillas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: Diced tomatoes, avocado, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Start with your cooked chicken. If you’re using rotisserie chicken, simply shred it into bite-sized pieces. Set it aside.
  2. In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add your shredded chicken to the skillet with the garlic. Sprinkle in some salt and pepper and stir to coat everything. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken mixture and stir gently until it melts.
  5. If using lettuce leaves, wash and dry them. Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave.
  6. Spoon a generous portion of the cheesy chicken onto each lettuce leaf or tortilla. Add your favorite toppings.
  7. Wrap it up by folding the sides and rolling from the bottom for tortillas, or folding the sides over the filling for lettuce.
  8. Place your wraps on a plate and garnish with additional toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to spice up the wraps with jalapeños or add fresh herbs for extra freshness.
