Red Velvet Cake Pops

Transform classic red velvet cake into delightful cake pops, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • Red Velvet Cake (1 batch, homemade or store-bought)
  • Cream Cheese Frosting (½ cup)
  • Chocolate Candy Melts (1-2 cups, red or white chocolate)
  • Cake Pop Sticks (12-15)
  • Sprinkles, Nuts, or Edible Glitter (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Bake the Red Velvet Cake
  2. Crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large mixing bowl
  3. Add the cream cheese frosting to the crumbled cake and mix well
  4. Roll the mixture into smooth balls (about 1 tablespoon each)
  5. Chill the cake balls in the freezer for about 30 minutes
  6. Melt the chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl
  7. Dip the end of each cake pop stick into the melted chocolate
  8. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate
  9. Decorate while the chocolate coating is still soft
  10. Let the cake pops set in a block of floral foam or a stand for about 30 minutes

Notes

For a richer flavor, drizzle with dark chocolate or fill the center with more frosting.
