  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prep the Apples: Wash the apples, core them, and slice into thin wedges, about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Coat the Wedges in Flour: Sprinkle flour over apple wedges in a bowl and toss to coat.
  3. Make the Egg Mixture: Whisk together the egg and milk in a separate bowl.
  4. Prepare the Panko Mix: Combine panko breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Coat the Apple Wedges: Dip each apple wedge in the egg mixture and roll in the panko mixture.
  6. Preheat the Air Fryer: Heat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  7. Air Fry the Apple Fries: Lightly spray the basket and place the coated apple wedges in a single layer.
  8. Cook Until Crispy: Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Let Them Cool: Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a minute before serving.
