Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

Delicious cheesecake bars that combine creamy cheese, sweet-tart apples, and rich caramel for a perfect autumn treat.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Make the Crust: In a mixing bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Press the Crust: Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake the Crust: Pop the pan into the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until golden and set.
  5. Mix the Cream Cheese Filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  6. Fold in the Apples: Gently fold in the chopped apples and ground cinnamon into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Combine it All: Pour the cheesecake filling over the warm crust and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake the Cheesecake Bars: Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
  9. Cool and Add Caramel: Once done, remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan.
  10. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  11. Slice and Serve!: Once chilled, slice into bars and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, drizzle with extra caramel and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
