Chocolate Covered Watermelon

A refreshing and decadent treat combining juicy watermelon with rich chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 large Watermelon
  • 200g Chocolate (100% cocoa, or preferred type)
  • Sea salt (optional)
  • Toppings (optional: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or cocoa powder)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the watermelon by cutting it into bite-sized wedges or cubes.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a double boiler or in the microwave.
  3. Dip each piece of watermelon into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Chill on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy! Garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

For an added twist, try different toppings or use other fruits like pineapple. If chocolate seizes, mix in a teaspoon of oil.
