Classic Muffins

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare your muffin tin by lining it with paper liners or greasing it lightly.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl: milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Distribute the batter into muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For added flavor, consider folding in blueberries, chocolate chips, or nuts before baking.
