Easy Calzones

Delicious and customizable calzones, perfect for family dinners or fun weekend projects.

Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Pepperoni
  • Mushrooms
  • Bell Peppers
  • Onions
  • Olive Oil
  • Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Prepare your dough by rolling it out on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into 6-8 inch circles or rectangles.
  4. Add a couple of tablespoons of tomato sauce on one half of each dough piece.
  5. Layer with mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms, and bell peppers.
  6. Season with a little Italian seasoning.
  7. Seal the calzones by folding and crimping the edges.
  8. Add olive oil on top for a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with fresh basil or parsley and a variety of dipping sauces like marinara or ranch.
