Easy Cheesecake Tacos

Delightful cheesecake filling nestled in crispy flour tortillas, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • Flour tortillas
  • Cream cheese (softened)
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Strawberries (sliced)
  • Graham cracker crumbs
  • Strawberry glaze

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a medium-sized bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until it’s smooth and creamy.
  2. Fill the Tortillas: Take your tortillas and, using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each one with a generous amount of the cheesecake mixture.
  3. Seal the Deal: Once filled, fold the tortillas in half to create a taco shape.
  4. Fry the Tacos: In a skillet, heat up a thin layer of oil over medium heat. Fry each taco for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until they turn golden and crispy.
  5. Dust with Graham Cracker Crumbs: Once cooked, remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess grease. Roll them in graham cracker crumbs.
  6. Top with Strawberries: Slice fresh strawberries and layer them inside the tacos or serve them on the side with a drizzle of strawberry glaze.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute flour tortillas with corn tortillas. Feel free to get creative with toppings and fillings!
