  • 1/2 cup brown butter
  • 1 box spice cake mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until amber and nutty.
  3. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it with cooking spray or butter.
  4. Mix the pumpkin puree, brown butter, and spice cake mix in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Add chopped pecans on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
