Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray or butter and line it with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients: whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients: whisk together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl until well combined.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently until just combined.
  6. Craft the streusel topping by combining flour, brown sugar, and pumpkin spice, then mixing in cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the streusel mixture evenly on top.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Cool the bread in the pan for about 10 minutes, then drizzle with the glaze before slicing.
