A cheesy and delicious flatbread pizza recipe that brings joy and nostalgia to your cooking adventures.

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Warm water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually stir in the warm water and olive oil until it forms a shaggy dough.
  2. Knead the Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let it Rise: Place the kneaded dough back into the bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-60 minutes, or until it doubles in size.
  4. Preheat the Oven: Once your dough has risen, preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) for optimal crispiness.
  5. Roll Out the Dough: Punch down the dough to release air, then turn it out onto a floured surface. Roll it out to your desired thickness (about 1/4 inch is ideal).
  6. Add Sauce and Toppings: Transfer your rolled dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce, sprinkle with cheese, and then pile on your favorite toppings.
  7. Bake to Perfection: Place your pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Slice it up and enjoy!

Feel free to personalize your toppings and experiment with sauces. A crispy flatbread can be achieved by pre-baking it before adding toppings.
