Halloween Feet Loaf

A spooky twist on classic meatloaf, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Cups Panko Crumbs
  • 1 Packet Au Jus
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper (Freshly Cracked)
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion, diced
  • 1 Cup Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko crumbs, eggs, Au Jus, pepper, dry mustard, onion powder, and diced onion.
  3. Shape the Feet: Form the meat mixture into two foot-shaped logs.
  4. Add the Ketchup ‘Blood’: Spread ketchup over the top of each foot loaf.
  5. Bake to Perfection: Bake for about 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Finishing Touches: Let the loaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish for Effect: Add sliced olives or cherry tomatoes as ‘toenails’ on the loaf.

Notes

Serve alongside mashed potatoes shaped like ghosts for extra creativity.
