Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Red gel food coloring
  • Edible fangs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a standard cupcake pan with paper liners.
  3. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Mix the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour your wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Add the boiling water to the batter, and mix carefully.
  7. Fill the cupcake liners about two-thirds full with the batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Cool the cupcakes in the pans for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  10. Frost each cupcake with a buttercream frosting mixed with red gel food coloring.
  11. Decorate with edible fangs and optional creepy decorations.
