Harvest Cobb Salad

A vibrant salad that combines crispy bacon, hard-boiled eggs, sweet apples, and creamy blue cheese for a delightful mix of flavors and textures.

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 large apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken: If using raw chicken, season and cook in a skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown. Shred if using rotisserie chicken.
  2. Crisp the bacon: Cook in a skillet until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Prepare the eggs: Boil eggs for 9-12 minutes, cool in an ice bath, peel, and slice.
  4. Chop the apples and rinse the mixed greens gently.
  5. Assemble the salad by layering mixed greens, chicken, bacon, eggs, apples, and blue cheese in a large bowl.
  6. Dress the salad with balsamic vinaigrette and serve.
