Pineapple Dump Cake

A simple and delightful dessert that combines pantry staples into a tropical treat, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20 ounces)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 ounces)
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks), melted
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Dump the crushed pineapple (juice and all) into the greased dish.
  4. Add the yellow cake mix by sprinkling it over the pineapple without mixing.
  5. Melt the butter and drizzle it over the cake mix.
  6. Add the shredded coconut on top, if using.
  7. Bake for about 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  8. Cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce for an elevated treat.
