Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

A simple and delicious dessert that combines the flavors of cheesecake and strawberries in an easy dump cake form.

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the strawberries by washing and slicing them; toss with a sprinkle of sugar.
  3. Mix the cheesecake filling by beating the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  4. Layer half of the cake mix in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, then add the cheesecake filling and layer with strawberries.
  5. Top with the remaining cake mix and drizzle melted butter over the top.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and edges are bubbly.
  7. Cool for 15-20 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

This cake can be made in advance and stored in the fridge. It also freezes well for future enjoyment.
