Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza

A delightful breakfast pizza featuring hearty sausage gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs, and gooey cheese atop a crispy pizza crust.

  • 1 package (16 oz) breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust (12-inch)
  • Cooking spray
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk (for eggs)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Crispy fried onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the breakfast sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Make the gravy by sprinkling flour over the cooked sausage, stirring well, and gradually adding 1 ¾ cups of milk. Cook until thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Prep the pizza crust by spraying a pizza pan with cooking spray or brushing lightly with olive oil.
  5. Scramble the eggs with 1/4 cup milk in a bowl until combined, then cook over medium heat until set but fluffy.
  6. Assemble the pizza by spreading the sausage gravy over the crust, topping with scrambled eggs and sprinkling with cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Add crispy fried onions on top after baking.
  9. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier option, skip the fried onions or replace them with sautéed vegetables. You can also experiment with different cheese combinations and toppings.
