Classic Italian Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata and green olives, chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncinis, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 cups lettuce (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Wash all veggies thoroughly, cut tomatoes into bite-sized chunks.
  2. Slice the onion thinly.
  3. Chop olives (or rinse capers if using).
  4. Toss in the pepperoncinis.
  5. Assemble the salad in a large mixing bowl.
  6. Dress with Italian dressing and sprinkle Parmesan on top.
  7. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
