Cheesy Halloween Pizza Skulls

Delightfully creepy and delicious pizza skulls perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 13 to 16 ounces pre-made pizza dough
  • 3/4 to 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces cooked sausage
  • 6 ounces mini pepperoni
  • Sliced black olives
  • Chopped sliced ham
  • Crumbled crispy bacon
  • Mini Italian meatballs
  • Cooked corn kernels
  • Baby spinach
  • Fresh basil
  • Marinara sauce for dipping
  • Chopped parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Cut out skull shapes using a skull-shaped cookie cutter.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing mozzarella, Parmesan, sausage, pepperoni, olives, ham, bacon, meatballs, corn, and spinach.
  5. Assemble the skulls by spooning filling onto one cutout, topping with another cutout, and sealing the edges.
  6. Paint with egg wash for a golden-brown finish.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with parsley or basil.

Notes

These pizza skulls can be prepared in advance and baked before serving. They can also be frozen for later use.
