La Scala Chopped Salad

A vibrant and flavorful chopped salad featuring fresh vegetables and a zesty dressing, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 head Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup olives, pitted and sliced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Prepare your vegetables by adding halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, and bell pepper to the bowl.
  4. Finely chop and toss in the red onion.
  5. Mix in the crumbled feta cheese and sliced olives.
  6. Make the dressing by whisking together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
  7. Combine everything by pouring the dressing over the salad and gently tossing.
  8. Let it chill for about 10–15 minutes if desired.
  9. Taste test and adjust seasoning if needed.

Notes

Can be customized with various add-ins like grilled chicken, chickpeas, or different cheese.
