Peanut Butter Spider Cookies

A fun and spooky twist on classic cookies featuring a peanut butter base and decorated like spiders, perfect for Halloween!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup melted chocolate
  • Reese’s Pieces or mini peanut butter cups
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the peanut butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and baking soda until well combined.
  4. Shape the dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly golden.
  6. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Dip the tops of cookies in melted chocolate.
  8. Add Reese’s Pieces or mini peanut butter cups for bodies, pretzels for legs, and candy eyes.
  9. Let the chocolate set.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes if it spreads too much while baking. These cookies freeze well for up to 3 months.
