Easy Peach Dessert

A simple yet delightful peach dessert that perfectly captures the essence of summer.

  • 4 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 pre-made pie crust or crumble topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash your peaches thoroughly, then cut them in half, remove the pit, and slice them into thin wedges.
  3. Place your sliced peaches into a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle in the sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and cornstarch. Give it a gentle toss with a spatula.
  4. Lay your pre-made pie crust into your pie pan. Ensure it fits snugly, then crimp the edges if desired.
  5. Pour your peach mixture into the pie crust or spread evenly over your crumble topping.
  6. Place your pie or crumble in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes.
  7. Once out of the oven, let it cool for about 10-15 minutes.

Serve warm or at room temperature. Drizzle with heavy cream or serve with vanilla ice cream for extra flavor.
