Easy Homemade Fresh Peach Salsa

A refreshing peach salsa that’s perfect for warm summer days and pairs well with tacos, chips, or grilled meats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. fresh peaches, diced
  • 1 large roma tomato, diced
  • 1/2 small red onion, diced
  • 1/2 jalapeno, minced (seeds removed)
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice from 1 large lime
  • 1/2 tsp. salt, more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper, more to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the peaches: Begin by washing and dicing your fresh peaches into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Dice the tomato: Wash and dice your roma tomato, squeezing out excess moisture.
  3. Chop the red onion: Finely chop your red onion, rinsing after chopping if desired.
  4. Prepare the jalapeño: Slice and dice your jalapeño, removing seeds for less heat.
  5. Combine ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, combine diced peaches, tomato, red onion, and jalapeño.
  6. Add cilantro & lime juice: Sprinkle in chopped cilantro and squeeze the lime juice over the mixture.
  7. Season it up: Add salt and black pepper, taste and adjust the seasoning.
  8. Let it marinate: Allow the salsa to sit for at least 15-30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, let the salsa sit to allow flavors to meld. Adjust seasoning and lime juice before serving as needed.
