Southwest Chicken Wrap

A vibrant and crunchy Southwest Chicken Wrap featuring crispy chicken tenders, fresh veggies, and a zesty sauce that’s perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 67 crispy chicken tenders (cooked according to package directions)
  • 6 flour tortillas
  • 6 romaine lettuce leaves
  • 2 medium tomatoes, cut into slices
  • 1 package frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp. taco seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. cumin

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken tenders following package instructions or bake homemade breaded chicken tenders at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes until crispy.
  2. Prepare your workspace by gathering tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, black beans, and cheese.
  3. Make the zesty sauce by mixing mayonnaise, salsa, milk, taco seasoning, and cumin in a bowl until creamy.
  4. Assemble the wrap by laying a tortilla flat and adding a romaine leaf, chicken tenders, corn, black beans, tomatoes, and sauce.
  5. Roll it up tightly, folding in the sides to prevent spills.
  6. Slice each wrap in half at an angle and serve with extra salsa or guacamole.

Notes

These wraps can be made ahead of time. Keep filling cold until just before serving to maintain crunch.
