Irresistibly Delicious Banana Nutella Muffins

These banana Nutella muffins combine the comforting taste of ripe bananas with rich, creamy Nutella, making them a perfect treat for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it.
  2. Mash the bananas in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the sugar and melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well. Then, add in the egg and vanilla extract and stir until combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture gently to avoid overmixing.
  6. Swirl in the Nutella by scooping half of the batter into muffin cups and then placing dollops of Nutella on top, followed by the remaining batter.
  7. Bake for about 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool the muffins in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Drizzle with extra Nutella or dust with powdered sugar before serving for an added touch.
