Ultimate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

A delightful chocolate chip banana bread that’s perfect for using up overripe bananas and sharing warm with loved ones.

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter and mix until combined.
  5. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla until mixed.
  6. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  7. Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients.
  8. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  9. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
