Flavorful Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast

A deliciously unique dish featuring succulent chicken breasts stuffed with a creamy, cheesy mushroom mixture.

  • 4 Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (diced)
  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil (for cooking)
  • Fresh Parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat and sauté the diced mushrooms for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and onion powder, sauté for another minute.
  4. Combine sautéed mushrooms with cream cheese and mozzarella in a bowl.
  5. Slice a pocket in each chicken breast and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Stuff each chicken breast with the mushroom filling.
  7. Sear chicken in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  8. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Rest the chicken for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat well before serving.
