  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box spice cake mix
  • 1 cup brown sugar for streusel
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Combine pumpkin puree, cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle spice cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  4. Mix brown sugar, flour, and melted butter in another bowl until crumbly, then scatter over the cake mix layer.
  5. Pour water gently over the entire cake, covering the surface.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
