Pumpkin Harvest Fruit Dump Cake

A delightful dessert that marries the warmth of pumpkin with the sweet, juicy goodness of autumn fruits, perfect for cozy fall gatherings.

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups mixed autumn fruits (pears, apples, cranberries)
  • 1 box spice cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by lightly greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Mix the pumpkin puree with your choice of mixed autumn fruits in a mixing bowl.
  4. Layer the pumpkin-fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the spice cake mix evenly over the pumpkin-fruit layer.
  6. Add chopped pecans on top of the cake mix.
  7. Melt the butter and drizzle it evenly over the cake mix and pecans.
  8. Bake for about 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Chill for 15 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute coconut oil for butter and use a vegan spice cake mix. You can also add chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
