  • 4 cups Chicken Broth

  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Start by gathering and chopping your ingredients.
  2. Sauté the aromatics: In a pot, heat olive oil and sauté onion for 5 minutes, then add garlic.
  3. Brown the chicken: Add chicken thighs to the pot, searing 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Stir in the spices and harissa: Add cumin, coriander, and harissa paste, mixing for a minute.
  5. Add lentils and broth: Pour in lentils and chicken broth, stir, and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Check for doneness: Ensure chicken reaches 165°F and adjust seasoning. Shred chicken if desired.
