Ooey-Gooey Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

A comforting and delicious wrap filled with cheesy goodness, tender chicken, and roasted garlic, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your pan: Start by heating a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Adding a sprinkle of oil will help prevent sticking and enhance flavor.
  2. Sauté the garlic: Once your pan is hot, add in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  3. Add the chicken: Toss in your shredded chicken, stirring to combine with the garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cheese, please!: Stir in the shredded cheese, allowing it to melt completely into the warm chicken.
  5. Prepare the tortillas: Fold each tortilla like a pouch, placing a generous scoop of your cheesy garlic chicken mixture in the center.
  6. Wrap it up: Fold in the sides and roll it up tightly from the bottom.
  7. Pan-sear the wraps: Add a little more olive oil to your skillet and lay the wraps seam-side down. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Slice and serve: Remove the wraps from the pan and let them rest for a minute before slicing in half at an angle.
