Parmesan Lemon Pasta

A delightful and creamy Parmesan Lemon Pasta that balances richness with bright citrus notes, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions for ‘al dente’.
  2. Sauté the garlic in a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. Create the cream sauce by pouring in the heavy cream and simmering. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until it melts.
  4. Add lemon zest and juice, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Drain the pasta, reserving some pasta water. Combine the pasta with the cream sauce.
  6. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added protein, consider adding grilled chicken or shrimp. You can also include spinach or cherry tomatoes for a veggie boost.
