Spinach and Feta Pinwheels

Delicious spinach and feta pinwheels wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Thaw the puff pastry according to the package instructions.
  3. Prepare the spinach filling by mixing spinach, feta, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry into a 1/8-inch thick rectangle on a floured surface.
  5. Spread the filling evenly over the pastry, leaving an inch on the edges.
  6. Roll the pastry into a log, tight but not bursting, and pinch the seams to seal.
  7. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pieces and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with whisked egg for a golden color.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
