Spooky Skull Caprese Salad

  • 10-ounce package cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ⅛ tsp black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mozzarella and tomatoes by draining the mozzarella pearls and slicing the cherry tomatoes in half.
  2. Create the skull shape using a platter, arranging the mozzarella pearls to form the skull.
  3. Incorporate the halved cherry tomatoes around the mozzarella pearls to shape the outer skull.
  4. Add fresh basil leaves around the mozzarella to enhance the appearance.
  5. Dress the salad with a mixture of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Final touches: add any additional seasoning before serving.
