Deliciously Decadent Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the muffin pan by lining it with paper liners.
  2. Mixing the dry ingredients: whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl: whisk together eggs, whole milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  6. Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. These muffins pair well with powdered sugar or whipped cream.
