Balsamic Glazed Salmon

Transform your weeknight dinner with this flavorful Balsamic Glazed Salmon, perfect for creating memorable family meals.

  • 1 lb. salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir and bring to a simmer, thickening for about 5 minutes.
  3. Pat the salmon fillet dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the salmon skin-side down and brush half the balsamic glaze over the top.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Brush on the remaining glaze with 5 minutes left.
  6. Switch to broil for the last 2-3 minutes for a caramelized finish.

Notes

Feel free to swap salmon for trout or tilapia. Add citrus zest or fresh herbs for a twist!
