Cherry and Blueberry Pie

A delightful cherry and blueberry pie that captures the essence of summer in every slice.

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • ½ cup Daisy sour cream
  • 2 egg yolks, divided
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling
  • Milk for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare your pie crust by rolling it out according to package instructions and placing it in your pie dish.
  3. Combine the cherry pie filling and blueberry pie filling in a mixing bowl. Add sugar, egg yolks, and sour cream. Mix gently.
  4. Fill the pie crust with the fruit mixture, spreading it evenly.
  5. Prepare the top crust and place it over the filled pie. Cut slits for steam to escape.
  6. Brush the top crust with milk.
  7. Bake for about 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Cool the pie for at least an hour before serving.
